Just a heartfelt THANK YOU to all who gave good advice regarding " batting " choices ...
ir is truly great to have wonderful people who make the effort to guide us who are new to this world of quilting ..
am currently visiting here & have bought the Batting ..bought 2 80/20 queen size Hobbs polydon & 1 Quilters dream ....so now will hv to get down to making a sandwich ...it all appears so straightforward on the videos but am sure will have me tied in knots once I attempt it ...as happened with the piecing of the top ..!!!! was SO confident till I had to battle getting pcs to line up 'just so ' ..felt so humbled by the enormity of work that goes into making a quilt ..& thanks for sharing all the pictures which is what inspires me to persevere .
