Your quilt is beautiful. Your Mom will get much peace and comfort from it. My MIL also is in a nursing home with alzheimers. Unfortunately she is always too warm, so I can't make a quilt for her. So I've been thinking about doing a wall hanging for her room instead.

Best wishes to you and your Mom...God Bless.

What a beautiful quilt and what a great thing to do for your Mom.

She will feel the love even if she can't express it. They know we love them.

I lost my Mom in 2009 and even though she couldn't speak for almost 3 years, she always had a big smile for me each day when I would go to the nursing home to feed her.

As someone told a story about a man whose wife was in the nursing home. He always visited her every morning and ate breakfast with her. He went to the doctor one day and to the nurse, he seemed in a hurry. She asked why he seemed in a hurry? He told her his wife was in a nursing home and had Alzheimers and didn't even know who he was but that he always went to eat breakfast with her. The nurse said, "Then why are you in a hurry because she won't know who you are?" The old man stated, "But I know who she is." What love he had for his wife.

May God bless you and your Mom!
