Thank you!! I actually used a modified version of the "Quilt in a Day" log cabin pattern (http://www.amazon.com/Make-Quilt-Day...5969738&sr=8-1). Instead of doing 2 1/2 inch strips I did 5 inch strips, and then just did some math to make it the right size for a twin bed. I ended up with 12 big blocks which made it pretty easy to put together.

I love those colors! That's a great boyish quilt.

Not only "heard" of it, but been by it hundreds of times.
If you are looking for something to do on Saturday, my guild is holding a quilt show from 10-5 in Sutter at the SYO Building on the corner of Acacia and Buttehouse. There is no way to get lost in Sutter. If you can come, find me - I am the show chair!

I do! Right now I'm finishing up a beach bag from this pattern:

    http://reannalilydesigns.com/2011/05...bag-pattern-2/

I wanted something small to practice quilting on and I actually think I had a pretty decent go at FMQ. I just need to sew it together and bind it.

After that I'm doing a "squares and 4-patches" quilt for my 3-year-old.

I really like the Dragon Fabric.

    Cheers, K
I just popped by your blog ... love it! It's so cool to see how someone else used the same fabric you used in a project. I struggled with how to balance the colors since there are so many different colored dragons and I finally just settled on reds and blacks with a few multi-colored polka-dots. I love how you used several of the dragon colors in your blocks and how you framed each dragon in its own square. Very cool!
