Thanks all for the compliments! It's nice to hear, because less than 2 years ago, I had sworn off FMQ! It's taken a ton of practice, but the biggest asset was getting a new / different sewing machine. My new machine is just so much smoother when it comes to FMQ (And, I took a quick lesson with someone and the first thing she told me was slow down LOL)

I’m finishing off the dark purple and turquoise version of this panel. I’m doing a flange of turquoise and binding in purple. You could do the same with a black flange and grey binding or same thing but grey flange and black binding.

Wow, you're a wonderful quilter, I love what you chose to do with each petal.

That is stunning, I think black would take the eye away from your beautiful work,

I would consider a gray or a taupe. Just try a few swatches next to the design to see which works best.

I agree with the gray binding. Your quilting is getting better and better. Love it.

It's funny, when I first saw these panels for sale, I thought, "Eh, why would you want those?". I'm absolutely blown away by how gorgeous they become with the right quilting! This is so beautiful!
