First Bow Tucks....FINALLY
#21
All patterns are the same if they are Bow Tucks, couldn't find one cheaper than $9 on ebay. They are easy to make but take a little thought in the beginning. If you get stuck you can yell for help. Lots of people have made them. I'm on #16 and have enlarged and made smaller the same pattern.

I really like your color choices. I've yet to cut out my first piece of fabric for the bow tuck, but I did go to JoAnn's and buy some 'belting' to use for the handles. I figure that I can use matching fabric to cover the belting and it would be stronger than using batting. Beautiful job. Be sure and show us your next one!

I use the belting too. Works really well for me.

Very pretty Bow Tuck. I love the fabric. I wouldn't have thought of using such a simple fabric for the outside, but it turned out gorgeous, and I love the fabric you used for the bottom. It makes it look like it is gathered, and the inside fabric matches so nicely. It is just very nice.

I have started making two at the same time. One for me and another for a gift. That way I don't have to keep changing thread etc. I cut two out and sew them. Just as easy and you get two bags done at once.
