I remember the first time I walked into the store. I said "OMG, I've just died and gone to heaven". A clerk just happened to be passing by, laughed and said thats what they all say.LOL

I ordered a nearly $100 order from Connecting threads and was disappointed that it didn't come with a catalog! How do you get on the lists for these catalogs?

You can sign up for a catalog on their website. https://www.hancocks-paducah.com/Catalog.aspx

I've cut out pictures of patterns for reference and also cut out pictures of fabric to glue on to scrabble squares to make necklaces. Love that catalog!

When my granddaughter was little she would cut out the fabric squares from the catalog and glue them to paper to make her quilt. She would stay focused for a long time arranging the squares just right. She would cut the squares and make hsts. I use the catalog pages to make the folded paper bags do hold small door prizes and secret pal gifts.

Fabric catalogs are quilter's porn. I went to the Quilt Show in Paducah in April and poured over the Hancock's catalog before arriving; I knew what I was looking for when I went in (the store was jam-backed with shoppers but everyone was laughing, smiling, and having a good time).

Danger is when you have the credit card number, expiration date, and security code memorized (ask me how I know)!!

I have almost talked my family into taking a road trip there, we all drool over their catalogs, I calculate that it would take 13 hours to drive there.
