    I loved your tag and thought you did a great job on this mug rug. Once you do the binding thing a few times, it will be easy. It is like making a pie...do it every day for two weeks ... and you can do it for life.

    Or, you could forget the binding, stitch a bit from the edge, clip like a rag quilt, and have a fuzzy chenille edge.

    A question here ...
    For the batting are people using regular batting?
    Or the special insulated one to avoid heat going thru?
