if you are thinking about a mid arm or long arm first thing to ask dealer do you have a teacher and someone that knows the fulloperation of said machine just because they are a great sewing machine dealer dose not make them a instructer on said machines i know because i made that very costly mistale after months still do not know much about said machine

i had the same problem, i bought a gracie pro frame and a juki for it. there are no sellers around here. i did find someone who had a set up, not like mine, and she offered to show me how to do it. but she lived an hour away. she did her best, but there is nothing like hands on with the machine you have.
have you tried a guild maybe? or maybe a quilt shop that has people that so FMQ on a frame? maybe they can give you a name of someone who would be willing to show you how to work yours..so sorry..was in the same boat.
