    Default Black or white

I知 going through older stash to get it used up and came across this collection I bought years ago, but I知 torn on the background fabric as the pattern does have a lot of background to it. I also have a very light grey, but felt the grey dulled the overall color of fabrics.

Black - the white washes it out. Cute fabrics.

I agree, the black provides more contrast which livens up the other fabrics.

If you are not in love with the black, i would suggest an inner border of the black and then the white. it should look lovely!

Depends on what the intended purpose of the quilt is. For adults, the black but it would make a sweet baby quilt with the white.

I am going with the white. Normally I would say the black, because I love black as a background fabric.

I think I would like to see the grey option too. The black makes the other fabrics pop. The white would make a very delicate looking top. But a dark grey might just pull everything together.

I think the black is better. It gives a good contrast. If you don't like the black, maybe another dark color would work for you. ... navy blue?
