I am going to Michelle's trunk show tonight I have never been to one what should I expect. She has some very cool ideas I thought this might be fun to escape from the family for a few hours. What are your thoughts???

I went to the trunk show and she had some amazing samples of her work. It was beautiful. unfortunatly I was not able to stay it seems I must be pretty important cog in my household and well lets just leave it at that. Mom is now not allowed to leave the house. (yeah right!!!) Ok back to Michelle she made some beautiful work alot of romantic fabrics and embrodery. her website is http://www.michelles-designs.com I personally could not afford the patterns but did learn some new techniques. She passes her books around and she made sure that you could easily understand all her patterns has lots of pictures and I will say she is right. There is one pattern for a tote for sewing supplies will have to buy this one!!! VERY CUTE STUFF!

You must turn off your cell phone when you go out. Most things can be dealt with upon your return. The only reason to rush home is for something that 911 can handle.

My old cell phone lost its battery charge frequently. I wonder why that was????

Our parents didn't have cells, and we grew up without too much trauma.

You NEED a night away every so often. I used to attend choir rehearsal one night a week and then sign up for a class at the community center once or twice a year. I also remember husband and children meeting me at the door with "tattles" on the other party, but it was good for all of them.

I'm glad you got to see some great designs. Thanks for the info.

Same advice my mom told me. The whole ordeal was so childish it still makes me laugh!! Thank you for the great advice!
