Default Fiskars Lifetime Warranty

I never knew that Fiskars has a lifetime warranty on their products until about 2 months ago.
My Fiskars cutting mat was in such poor, poor shape that I had to work around all the bad spots on it when cutting my fabric. I used the front & back so much that it was just completely worn out. I found out about the lifetime warranty & contacted Fiskars through their website....they have a warranty claim form that can be filled out. You attach a photo of your product that you are requesting a replacement for & give them a description of what is wrong. Today I received my new replacement mat & it's wonderful....smooth as a baby's butt! I love it.
Just thought I'd give any of you a head's up about the warranty in case you were not aware of it.

I didn't need proof of purchase for my mat & it's a good thing as it was about 10 years old. I just told them what size it was & what was wrong & sent the picture.

Good to know as I have Fiskar scissors from 30+ years ago though I rarely use them so they're still in great shape.

Thanks for posting this link. Filling out tonight so my 5-inchers can be replaced. Have had them over 29 years and they bearly snip sewing thread anymore.
Getting them replaced without chasing them down in the store will be a great blessing for me.
