Five inch flannel
I have quite a stash of 5 inch flannel squares. Can someone suggest a pattern to use them. I was saving them for a friend who has quit quilting and moved. I really hate to toss them.

I would think that most patterns that are designed especially for Charm Packs (5" squares), or Nickels as they are sometimes called, would work well. I'd Google "quilt patterns for charm packs" and see what pops up.

I used left over pieces of flannel, some squares some rectangle and made just a scrappy lap quilt and backed it with another flannel from my stash. When I took it to football games I was always complimented on it. Gave it to my son and he loves it.

I made my Mom a quilt last Christmas that was just 5 inch blocks in flannel. She loves it! It's so soft and warm. Nothing fancy about it at all.
The only thing that made it special were some of the prints. I love the way it turned out. Easy too!
