    Hi Tartan,
A class that I just took said that the Schmetz Mirotex Sharp, 90/14 needles are especially made for FMQ. I just bought a pack but haven't used them as yet.

Your FMQ is gorgeous.....I wish I lived closer too...Do you teach in Ontario? You are good!

I sent a quilt out to be done and it came back with a whole lot of skipped stitches. When I questioned the quilter, I was told that it probably was because there were a lot of batiks in it.....Had never had a problem before, but now I'm really gunshy about using batiks and I love them so much!

I had used batik on the backing too, but personally, I think it was the batting....it was one I had not used before......Anyway, it was expensive and very time consuming to fix it......

Same thing for me. Works fine after I got her back home.
