I found a (new?) way to prevent your foot pedal from moving across the floor. Place a furniture mover slider upside down so that the foam side is on the floor or carpet. I used double sided sticky tape to attatch the pedal to the smooth side. It is the best thing I have found to keep my foot pedal in place. I used the large size (7"x7"). I got them at Harbor Tool.under $5.

why not just use an CAR floor mat? if you have carpet, if you don't have carpet then get some of that rubbery shelf liner stuff and cut it fit...

I use a small car mat. I can see where this would work well also.

Thanks for the useful hint. Always had a problem having the darn thing slipping away from me.

I tried the under the rug pad and it did not work for me. The mover slider is heavy enough that it holds the whole foot pedal and it really keeps it in place. The cost was under $5.00 for a set of 4 large and 4 small. Thats enough to share with 3 friends.
