I probably won't be able to sit in live. Grandbaby will be here for the football game, as well as his parents. Hope the class will be posted later with pics and directions as originally planned. Thanks Debbie and Sharon for putting it together. If it's a success, maybe there will be more to follow. This group rocks!

Hi Sharon:
I'm new to the "class" thing. Is your "Sewing Forever, Housework Whenever" the project we will be making? where do I get info about the class so I'm ready at the crack of dawn on Saturday?

Hi sorry to miss this one but Hubby is working Sunday so I can't really go crashing around the house at 3am  , but another time when hes's not working on the Sunday I'd love to join in. Can easy set the alarm, would be no big deal, but I really can't do that to him it wouldn't be fair. So I hope everyone enjoys it and it goes well and hopefully there'll be another that I can join at some time :P

Here you go Feathers:
Class fabric requirements:

one piece of fabric 17 or 18 inches by width of fabric for backing.

one piece of warm and natural or warm and white the same size.

one focus fabric that is 9 inches square. Could be any picture but has to be cut on point. So that it sits not square but it sits diamond shaped.

Strips of fabrics to coordinate with the middle square cut different widths anywhere from 1 1/2 inch up to 2 3/4 inch. You should have at least 6 or 7 different fabrics but more is good also. I used quite a few in mine. I think I used 20 different ones but have done them with less and that is fine too.

You also need a coordinating fabric for the binding. I would use a fabric that is also in your runner.

I prefer you use warm and natural cause we will be doing ironing on top of the batting and wouldn't want to have any melted messes.

I hope this is going to be fun and that we have many more classes like this.

Feel free to pm me or ask on the board if things are not clear to you.

Debbie

Hi Debbie:
Thank you for responding. I now have the list of required stuff but now I have to ask if there is a picture that we can see of the project? I'm such a visual learner I will do better picking out fabric if I know what I'm making is suppose to look like. Thank you and I'm sorry I'm such a pain.
