I saw something a few days ago on Fons and Porter Love of Quilting show - if all of your flying geese are the same fabric. Possibly you could record it.

I have done many flying geese and I prefer EB method that produces 4 perfect flying geese. When there is NO opportunity to trim down the block, your seams must be accurate to achieve a perfect geese block.

http://www.patchpieces.com/files/flyinggeese.pdf This is the one a lot of us use. Makes 4 at a time and so easily! Called the No Waste method.

If you make them like the "20 at a time" instructions, my idea was to leave off the two strips of sky on the outside. After you cut your 20 geese, you will have 4 geese that have no "sky" on one side. Add a sky triangle to these four and you're done. Much less waste of fabric.

I love the "no waste" method that makes 4 at a time--but do think about what colors you want--with this method all the "wings" have to be the same color or it will come out with the 3rd color "wing" on the opposite side. Make Sense?
