any info on sale on Accuquilt?
I was told that a LQS about an hour away would be having a 20% off sale on Accuquilt cutters and dies around Thanksgiving and since it's on my wish list definitely want to take advantage---but I've also heard that the Accuquilt folks don't allow any sales that they don't authorize for all their dealers, so has anyone heard anything about a big upcoming sale? My source is not always real accurate, so....

I would think that if your LQS intends to continue to selling Accuquilt items, they will not be holding an unauthorized sale. Honestly, I wouldn't worry about it.
Meanwhile, I would recommend checking the Accuquilt.com website periodically, as they often have sales. The Studio cutter, for example, was recently on sale for $398 for 3 days. They also had 50% off on Studio dies (ends today). If you create an account with the website, you will receive email notification of their sales. Here is a link to where you can create an account:

Meanwhile, there is no reason to question an LQS sale. As quiltstringz suggested, simply call the LQS and ask them before you make the trip. I'm sure that Accuquilt authorizes sales among their dealerships.

yes--have gotten several email sources that the dies are 20% (40% on Studio) and GO Cutters are all marked down--but only until 26th (Thanksgiving). So act quick--if you wait to Black Friday it will be too late!

I also received the email and ordered a couple of Studio dies.
