    I love the pattern card tricks. Another one on my bucket list.

    I saved this picture to show how I might would want to quilt a card trick. I am horrible at FMQ but I can make the flowery type of stitch. I find it a lot more forgiving. If each one is different, it looks like you planned it that way.

    Another idea....I like the idea of using each card type.... heart, spade, diamond & clubs in the centers of the card tricks blocks.

    I see you got some nice suggestions I am like you my fmq skills are limited and I am also getting bored with the same ole grid stid I need to get brave and move on at least try something different but I like your quilt and the idea of the flower motif is nice

    Beautiful, great color choices. I mostly do FMQ or a large stipple on most of my quilts. I'm not into patterns or such.

    OMG, these are all terrific idea's. The quilt it sandwiched and pinned so NOW I an make an informed choice.. and I got good ones. Thank you one and all.

    You say your FMQ skills are iimited therefore I would use the walking foot to ditch quilt around the sashing and select a gentle curve four point design for the cards
