    Good luck! You will have fun. I love free motion quilting, even though I have really only "mastered" meanders. Challenges are good for you!

    Good luck! The best way is to just DO IT! It takes practice, but is fun. Don't worry about minor mistakes. Once the quilt is washed, it will crinkle up and be hardly noticeable! I hardly ever rip out and do over!

    Well, it is done. I have put a meandering design in the border. The centre is SID. I think I made it more difficult for myself as the backing is towelling and didn't slide very smoothly. I will have to see about the gloves - they might be a good idea.

    I will put the binding on this evening and take a photo tomorrow.
