rm - i have trouble with quilterstv. when i try to watch the videos, they stop in the middle and i can't get them to continue. do you have that problem?

i have the dvr and tape the six shows that i know of. that kinda fills my time every few weeks. i have it set for continuos taping. with 100 hours to fill, you can go a long way, especially if you delete as you go. did you know that there's a way to transfer memory from dvr to hard something? either disc or vhs (which is making a comeback,, according to best buy. glad i never threw those old tapes away).

now i get sue hausman , sew with nancy, fons and porter, martha's sewing room and a show called quilting arts with a blond lady whose name i naver remember. they're on every day at 3. same station, alternating days. qiad is on every thursday at (gasp) midnight-ish.different station - rfdtv. EVERYTHING gets memorized on my cd player, which works like FIOS and hold 100 hours. when i remember i skim through, watch what looks good, throw out the rest and let the machine take over til next time. cool.

p.s. also used to get simply quilts with alex anderson. kiss that off.
You are so lucky!! I'd have a celebration in your livingroom everyday!:)

I have a recorder attached to my DVR and record a bunch of shows at one time. VHS because the DVD part is too complicated to record with.
With tape it is simple, just one button. DVD takes a bunch of steps and can only watch on my machine.
My internet is expensive so dont have problems with videos. It cost over 30 bucks a month with Quest.

i think the heirloom lady is martha pullen (martha's sewing room). i don't much like her, but she gets good guests. i also think she's the one that sells the pullen pleater.

i'd like to get georgia bonesteel, but no dice. i don't even see that offered here. what station does that come out of? i'll try to find it.

Yeah, thats it. Martha's sewing room. It drives me nuts cuz she'll explain something step by step, then her guest does it again. I don't do hand quilting. I guess thats why Georgia doesn't faze me any, but I do like when she goes to places that for example. Where they make batting or threads, even thimbles. Now those interested me. Here I get it on Channel 28 PBS.
