Foot pain from quilting-anyone but me?
#22
Alot of people here has gave some good advise. That I'm going to try. I have one thing you might try in putting Ice on your foot. I had a Dr. tell me to fill a 8" balloon with water (size of fists)and tie off. At the time I needed heat for a stye on my eye, he had me put it in the microwave for around 1 minute & it didn't bust. It felt so good. I thought if it work warm why not cold and it makes a great cold pack. I keep one in my fridg. at all times. I put it on the back of my neck, I sit with my foot resting on it when Arthur visits. I have never have had one to bust yet. lol It last for a long time but after a month or so I bust it & make a new one. My G-kids love them. If they get a booboo we go to the first aid drawer and they pick out the color they want and they put it on their booboo. I only put a small amount of water in it and they get to take it home with them. I know it sounds crazy but it works and I get a bag of 8" ones for a dollar at the dollar store.

Praise the Lord! 10 Days later and no foot pain. Rest, nsaids, cold packs, stretches, and 2 foot massages from my wonderful sister and I am OK! Thanks for all suggestions. They were very comforting. Bet I won't do that 6 hours of free-motion again for a long, long time.
