I love it so much a just ordered a bolt of one of the colors . It goes with just about everything( from a style perspective) .. it is my "go to" fabric when I have trouble finding the right fabric to go with a batik. It has a wonderful "natural print" with out some of the wild colors batiks can have in a piece. I had been searching for the right batik for a project ... and then it came to me ...use a fossil fern! There are some advantages in using a fossil fern as apposed to a batik .... no bleeding!... a bit thicker fabric ... predicatable colors throughout the fabric. They even have some printed on flannel.
I will use the bolt of fossil fern as the base background color for the top , and then as the backing as well. There are 10 yards on a bolt.
They have discontinued some of the colors over the years but I think there are still like over 100 in print and available.
It is high quality fabric , in case you had any doubts. Try them you will like them!
