Shelly, I have that book and I helped my partners mother make one of her own. I have mine in the works but am using a different layout. I didn't wnat to make both of ours the very same. I am putting the zigzag on the top and bottom and the four blocks together to make closed block with the darker colors. I don't plan to do the squares on the border. I want to bring out one particular color in the quilt so I am going with a solid border.................The moment I saw that quilt in Quiltmaker magazine I knew I just had to make it.
