I love that quilt. I've been collecting fab's with guitars and music notes for my 15yr. old son to make him a new quilt.

Here's my DD's bass clarinet quilt. She played bass clarinet
from middle school, all 4 years in marching band in high school. She had no idea that I was making it.

I think I collected fabrics for about 5 years before I had enough variety to suit me. I was thrilled when I found fabric that had bass clarinets on it. I had to buy 7 yards to get 40 bass clarinets, only 3 per repeat. I have been quilting since 1988, I've learned a lot since my 1st quilt, like how not to do things.

Purple is probably my best favorite color. But lately I have been stepping out of the box. I love the prints and if I could travel I would be on my way to Murray,Ky. Alas, I am not allowed to drive now. I am glad you found such a great place. The prices seem better that here too.

Here is a little info on the shop. They have an online store but do not sell the fabric online. The shops name is Shane Lee and they are a clothing manufacturer that decided to sell the fabric's in the store front. They open a shop in Paducah during the AQS. She said that in April they will be getting new prints and have good sales then too. I bought some that were priced $4.99/yd and she only charged me $2.99/yd. today. In think this is gonna be my new place to shop from now on. That is until I have every print in the store. LOL!!!!
