Default Found these at the dollar store

I picked these up a few days ago to see if they would work on my cutting table. They are table clamps used to keep a tablecloth from blowing away outside. They come four in a package for $1.00. They fit perfectly on my table. They are spring loaded so they hold everything tight.

Great idea! I also like the two pack plastic cutting boards to use when I need to cut a template (Dollar Tree)

Mine worked good until the springs started breaking.

You can buy metal ones at the hardware store. I have used them for years with my strip cutter ruler and they never fail. They do cost more than the Dollar Store BUT they have plastic covers on the tips and handles, they don't break like plastic and they hold on like a snapping turtle buried to the neck in concrete! I can see these as handy for retreat or vacation use however. Good find!

What do you clamp to the table, fabric? I guess I don't understand. Usually the fabric I cut does not go end to end or side to side in order to be clamped.

I use them when I'm glue basting a quilt. It keeps everything from sliding around. It doesn't work for large quilts but crib size or smaller it's great.

I've been hoping to find something like that. The clamps I've seen up to now wouldn't fit around my thicker table, and these look as if they might. Thanks for posting this.
