Quote: strip piecing. Sew a dark to a light strip press to the dark side, and sub cut them to 2 1/2". I prefer this way to individual squares. Then sew the twosies together for the 4 patch.
This is how I do it. The blocks come together fast.

dark, light, dark.

janeknapp, what program do you use to make the diagrams for the 4 patch? They are so nice and show what you mean so clearly. Just wondering if I have something like that and just don't know it. LOL
