There is a natural beauty in each fractal design. I use to have a set of lamaneted fractals from nature that I showed my students each year when we got to a certain chapter in science and in math. They are very interesting.

Quilt University has a class on fractals taught by Lily Kerns. It's next offered September 30th.

Gosh, fractal quilts have been around since the 60's at least! There are many types of "math quilts" out there, all amazing.

I have been making "fractal" quilts for years :D :D :D
A "fractal" is a geometric design where it repeats smaller, it can be found EVERYwhere in nature! but also paintings, tilework, weaving for thousands of years!!!
so Im not the only human obbsessed am I ;)
