A similar thing happened to me. I purchased a Judy Neimeyer pattern called flying south to do for my DIL. I got it and later decided it was too complicated for me and set it aside. Last summer an anvil pattern was featured in one of my quilt magazines and I decided it was more my speed. Only when I ut both patterns side by side did I realize that ti was thevery same pattern with different construction techniques and lay out.

Isn't it funny how it seems to happen. WE pick a pattern or layout and then do it again years later and don't even realize it!

    Okay, here are pictures.

These blocks are are part of the uncompleted top. I am thinking of resewing this one, because it is not well made and some of the material needs to be replaced.

Tigger gets into the act... I often use my ironing board for rotary cutting etc. Tigger jumps up there as soon I working there. The pile of fabric is some of the samples.

This are the two blocks I've made from the fabric samples I got in Barstow.

One more picture... One of the reasons I bought the uncompleted top is because of the juvenile prints in it. This is close up of one.

    I love this piglet fabric!

For some reason I was not led back to this post when you added the pictures. I looked at the squares you were putting together and jealousy was starting to rear it's ugly head! I allowed it to stick around for a few seconds then sent it away! I would love to be able to put combinations like that together!

Cats are funny, doncha think? They want to be left alone when you want to spend time with them, but get busy doing something else and they just gotta be in the thick of it!
