fusing discovery

Another use for fusing. Using light weight pellon, feather weight,
# 911FF.
Cut 1/2" wide strips and fuse to edges on back side of fabric for attaching skirting to outside edges.(or other uses) Using Egyptian cotton for skirt. (Incredible buy, California King sze. sheet,) Found it difficult to pin to edges as the fabric moved too much. A lot of extra work, but certainly worth it to save all of the work. Attaching with 1/4" seams. Gotta love it.

I don't have pictures yet. Best described. I only block quilt using children's out grown clothing.Mostly for a twin bed. The one I am working on now has 9" blocks with framing on each block.
5 blocks across and 7 blocks down. Don't have the quilting lingo down yet  I am adding a 10" "frame" all around to made the finished product longer and wider. I call my "quilts" Remember me Knot. This is all so new to me yet. Thanks for the reply
