Which thread works the best in your machine. Over the past 18 years I have used A&E and Superior threads. Do they seem thinner to you than years ago>

Which is your favoirte solid colored thread and variegated thread?

I have a Gammill classic plus I use coats & clark dual duty text 40 and coats multi color #50 I don't like others have to mess with tensions and I want to sew not mess with pokies or loops I order from Atlanta thread & supply company but they are switching to signiture and guttermann their sales person said Gammill user liked the guttermann switch with no problem and did send me a small spool to try but as of yet need to make a pink top to use sample. I do agree if get small spools are not as heavy as large cones even though SAY the same on label.

I use the Signature 40 cones on my GC+ and have had no problems. I have used a few other types of thread but prefer the Signature. They have so many nice colors, Fawn and Latte in the browns, pear green, soft cyan, and most of the varigated. I try to keep a decent variety for myself and customers to choose from.
