Great shopping experience! Goodwill here never has fabric but the thrift shop has been fruitful!

Lucky day, lucky day! Our local Goodwill is so far away to be handy, and since I work I'm pretty much out of luck!

What department do you find all this material at Goodwill? I go there and have yet to find any. I did find some placemats that I am going to use to make a "bag" for my walker. They are really cute with Holstein cattle heads on them.

I really don't know if the Good Will stores have "departments", but I find material around anything pretaining to crafts, or sewing patterns. I also keep a watchful eye out for nice sheet sets. Sheets and top sheets have alot of nice material in them. You might even want to ask the store clerk if they would happen to have any material/fabric. The first time I found fabric at my local Good Will was by accident. The fabric/mateial was in a plastic tub sitting on the floor packaged up in clear plastic bags.
