Garden Twist quilt
#29
I had a very hard time finding the floral material that I wanted. I searched stores within a 40 mile radius of my home. Then I tried the Internet. Happy Apple Quilts was able to order the material for me. I found the greens at Wal Mart and the 108" wide backing also at Wal Mart.
I must confess, I'm kind of lazy. I didn't want to paint my bedroom again so I tried like crazy to find colors in the flowers that would work. These flowers really do work. LOL
I am going to try doubling the W&N and also the 80/20. I have a few pcs left over so I can see how it will work out before I try it on the quilt itself. Thank you for all of your suggestions. I started this quilt June 17th. This pattern was a lot easier than I anticipated. Thank you for all of the kind words and encouragement to keep going.
