I am surprised that they had some bolts because they don't have fabric. I might be in New Bern in a few days. We must be sort of neighbors.

I miss the fabric department at Walmart, I used to love it, our local stores don't have it anymore.

I was at the Lafayette,IN walmart (On St. Rd. 26E) a couple months ago, they had bolts for 5$. They were ugly and I doubt they even had 1 yard on the bolt.
I heard that the West Lafayette Walmart is closing the fabric section in March.

I was down in Myrtle Beach the other day at a Walmart and their fabric selection wasn't nice at all and the prices were higher than what I buy in JoAnne's here. Our Walmart here in Fuquay-Varina has the $5 bolts but I have yet to go see what they are. Hubby mentioned it to me yesterday. Now that I hear what y'all are saying about it, I may just skip the trip down to check it out and stick with JoAnne's stash! At least I know what the quality of there material is.
