I had a quilt that my Grandmother made for me around the 1930-40's. She made wedding ring quilts for each of her 5 grandchildren. I kept it nice while growing up, but when I married I began using it and eventually it was worn out. How I wish I had known the importance of not using it regularily. I would still have had that particular one. I do have a couple that my husbands Grandmother made, but that'snot the same as the one made especially for me. :-( :-(

How special that the quilt is headed to you. Just touching it will always bring you comfort. Any more fires, grab it as you go out

I can't wait to go get it this weekend.
Doing happy dance for you, so glad you will have something for old memories. Glad you aunt was willing to share with you.
