I think the person receiving this gift will be as happy as the puppy looks on the tote. Great Job!!!!

I think it's adorable. I have a dachshund too. Even though the ears could be longer on the bag's applique, it does not have to bee 100% accurate to see the rest of the face and body are the breed. A wonderful gift.

I think it's really cute. I'd definitely appreciate this gift. I love the face on this little guy.

This is how designers get their start. It's lovely. I know what you mean about the ears. You are like me in that you want everything to look realistic, but then you lose the WHIMSY. And dachsies are all about whimsy.

My daughter would love something like this, she does dog grooming and boarding. It is beautiful.

aaawwww, I LOVE IT !!!

It's awesome but I have a question. how did you get the wrap-around effect? Was the tote section one long piece then appliqued then finish putting the tote together?

I want to make myself one (if you don't mind). I just lost my doxie of 15 years 4 months ago and miss her ssssoooo much. Haven't gotten another yet. 15 years is a long time to get over. Not sure if I can draw it out as well as you but I've gotten try....for my "Heidi".

Gift worthy??? ABSOLUTELY !!!
