Smile Gina Perkes June ruler

Has anyone used these rulers? I think they would be very useful, but what size? These rulers come in small, medium and large. I am interested in your expert opinions. Thank you.

I do not have any of her rulers but I find doing inside ruler shapes easier then outside ones. I would get the largest ones because all the shapes will be 1/4 inch smaller all around when quilted.

Are these to use with the ruler foot on the sewing machine?

Yes, according to her description. The thickness of the ruler is 1/4 inch and can be used on any kind of machine.

Thank you Tartan. I didn't think of the shape being smaller when quilted on inside of ruler. I think the larger would be better also.

I got the medium one I believe but haven't tried yet. They were demoed at the quilt booth and looked easy to use. I believe she has video tutorials

I have the medium and the small. I bought them as a package deal along with several others of hers. They seem to be good rulers. I am just getting into ruler work and I have had no problem using them. She has a quilt along that she just finished on The quilt show web site. You have to go to her “classroom” and keep scrolling up to the June ruler video. https://thequiltshow.com/daily-blog/...mastery-series

These really look intriguing. I like the idea of the stencil to help line up the parts of the flower.

I am really interest in Gina Perkes "The Rose" feather ruler. There is very little information about size, thickness, etc. I have a small work space so I need to know the dimensions of the actual ruler and also what size the design will be when stitched.
