some square or rectangular zippered storage containers in very convenient sizes for storing fabrics! There are 2 sizes, (med & large) blue see-thru and I saw them at my local grocery store. They were on for $6.99 for the medium which, if memory serves, is about 16-18" long and a foot wide and high.

Payday next week! Will have to get one!

I bought a box of the big 2 gallon zip loc and they are super! DH laughed and said what food are you putting in those? I bough them with fabric in mind but they work great to put the whole dish of food in them and not worry with covering with the plastic wrap. The bag stay clean putting the dish in, just take in and out. I buy a box every time I buy groceries because they will be discontinued. Things that make sense and I use are always discontinued. I'll have to look for the size you posted about .

Really like these big ones, Have seen on TV where people are posessive of the tupper ware, I'm like that w/these bags :)

I buy the Hefty brand 2 or 2 1/2 gal. size and have done so for years so I hope they will continue to be around. Now I use them for fabric and projects. While I was teaching, I used them for school stuff. Aren't they great?

I bought several boxes of 2 gal size at the Dollar Tree. I have about 3 boxes left. They were 10 for .99. Once in a while they will have them again. I check every time I go into the store. I have learned that if the Dollar Tree has something that you like, you better buy all you want as they may not get them in again.

Are those all "soft-sided"? The Glad ones are fold-up-able when not in use, or scrunch down when not full (I think).

    Thanks for the info!

The ones I purchased are just large storage bags like the regular 1 gal size only larger.

I can never find the 2 gal. storage bags :o{ they are great for storing projects in & being able to see what you have in them. IF I find them again I will buy 2 or 3 boxes next time....
