Default Glitter mesh

Joann's is selling a range of "glitter mesh" and I'd like to use some on a quilt to emphasize some aspect, but I can find no real information about washing it. I've seen it used, but not seen the product after washing. Has anyone here used it, washed it??? I want to put it on a special quilt (wedding) but am afraid of what will happen when it gets washed or dry cleaned. No way do I want to have it become a mess because it got cleaned! HELP!

The site says

Machine Wash Cool Delicate, No Chlorine Bleach, Tumble Dry Low, Cool Iron.

They mean it about the cool iron. AMHIK.

The only way I've used it has been as a "liner" for vents in the floor so things like Legos and puzzle pieces don't fall too far in.
