I love your bag! I just finished my first one today too. (see: http://www.quiltingboard.com/t-52871-1.htm#1253446) It also was a The Mesh of it tote. Called Tote and Go. I really like your material!

I got my mesh at a LQS in Philadelphia area and she had 5 colors. My daughter decided she wanted one, but with black mesh and I got it at a local hardware store. Erica's online has it in colors also.

Edited to say: Pattern was also by Lyle Enterprises.

If you want black or grey just visit a hardware store or Home Depot or Lowes. It is just screen material.

Thank you......It's the Sunshine Bag by Lyle Enterprises.

Now everyone wants one and I can't find the pet screening or mesh in Canada. The cost to ship it from US is expensive.

Wouldn't it be wonderful to have all those colors available!?
But unless a lot of us would go together and buy it, the smallest amount you can get is 8 feet. I found another site that sold it by the 1/2 yard, but they would only cut in 1/2 yard pieces due to what they called "shipping issues". Bummer!

My DH redid all the house screens with that mesh. Now I know what to do with the leftovers. Great bag.

I really like the idea of making them into a tote bag. You did a really nice job on it.
I buy mine from mill end. I don't know if the on- line mill end store has it. But, the one here in reno has tons of colors. aqua, bright yellow, blue, red....

Here's the ones I made last year for halloween.

Are these made from a pattern? Is the pet mesh all there is in the bottom? (Besides the corners)

Yes, at least for the one i made that was similar to the one originally posted on this thread a "The Mesh of It Tote." Great for the beach as the sand would fall though the mesh, not not wind up in a pile at the bottom after a day at the beach.

Sorry if I horned in nursie... I was just kind of excited to see the screen tote. I loved making them. (kind of like the bow tucks, you can't just make one! LOL!) I made these as christmas gift bags with the light aqua with snowmen and red with penguins...

This is the site of the lady who made the first pattern with the pet screening. She has tons of patterns there to see. It is called screen play ...

Great job! Love the colors. Here's a site that sells the mesh cut especially in tote sizes (36" x 18") and in several colors:

    http://www.sewthankful.com/VinylMesh.html

The shipping is reasonable to the U.S. and Canada.

    HTH!
