I have the opportunity to purchase The Complete Book of Quilting by BH&G for $24.00---is this a book worth buying?

I have one and like it. Price seems high. On Amazon you can get a new one for $14, or used one for $7 plus shipping. It's the 2003 version.

I have the 2002 Edition and have used it quite a bit for referemce and ideas. Don't remember what I paid for it, but sounds like Amazon may have a better deal.

I agree with checking Amazon and also ebay for books. I have found some great buys on the spiral-bound, hard-backed Better Homes and Gardens books. I bought volume 8 and the Pink Ribbon Quilts for a total of $15, $7 was for shipping and handling.

just a hint. I take almost every book I buy to Staples and have them spiral bound. It usually costs $8.00. I think it is worth it to have the book lay flat.

I get my books from my library and look them over before buying them. That way I know for sure I'm making a good purchase. I agree with the others, price seems high and it is a good book.

I have that one and many others and like that one the best. I like that there are photographs vs. drawings. It is my "go to" reference book.
