2 good offerings from patricej!
I've been using eQuilter pretty much since they started and have always had good experiences, mostly I buy sale fabrics (especially backs). Recently one of the other board members did not have a satisfactory outcome with them in their purchases.

Sometimes when I'm looking for something specific and am having problems, I go to Fields Fabrics, a small Michigan chain, plus they have fleece and non-quilting fabrics. I would find what I wanted on Amazon with them selling it, so just cut out the middle person and buy direct.

Bear Creek Quilting for their clearance fabrics is my favorite, but they are in Oregon and shipping from there seems slow to me. Marshal Dry Goods, Missouri Star, Keepsake Quilting and once in a while Quilted Twins are all good.

I shop Shabby Fabrics for the Fairy Frost collection. I hope it never gets discontinued! I have 5 or 6 sites Bookmarked. https://www.batiksplusmore.com/ is also a fav.
Self explanitory: https://backsidefabrics.com/
last but not least: https://fabricmegastore.com/collections/oyster-shell
I am currently boycotting equilter, but probably will shop there after the sting wears off. I was told to order more than 1 yard if I needed 1 yard after straightening grain because that is how they receive it and sell it. But there are plenty of others. Julie at batiksplusmore has included a complementary fat quarter with every order! She emailed when insufficient amount of fabric to fulfull order.

I think with eQuilter Aashley also had an issue with a batik with a printing flaw, not just "batiks are like that"? Maybe that was another board member. One of my caveats for eQuilter is when you order a yard, you get exactly a yard as it comes off the bolt. Not 36.5 inches... When I am collecting fabrics by theme and they have a suitable Scrap Pack, I buy them and get the ragged end pieces of the bolt.

I just sent Aashley333 a sample of fabric from the Fabric Mega Store so she can give an unbiased review over here
New to me online store
Little did I know she was already a customer! I found her while trying to find an active board member who used spoonflower to compare the quality. I was satisfied with the quality and if they had something I liked and was willing to pay full price, I would buy from them again. I found the website easy to work with, opted out of emails and have gotten just a few reasonable updates on my order alone. I got a mystery pack (like those equilter packs) to test, those were preprinted and got out of the shop and to me super fast. For other orders, it is printed for you as you order so you might want to add a couple of weeks?? to your expected arrival time. I've got no info on that.

I'm lucky to be able to drive to Marshall's in a couple of hours. I go there often. Many of the fabrics lines I like are not sold there so I shop at Missouri Star, Quilt in a Day, Fat Quarter Shop and Shabby Fabrics. I have never had a complaint about either of these online shops.
