I have a found a Viking Mega Quilter with Inspira Frame for sale for $1300. The machine and frame have gone through two owners and the reason they sold was because they upgraded to larger set ups.

I'm pretty new to quilting and don't know to much about machines but is this a good deal?

Thanks for any help!

I don't know about this machine either, but wanted to welcome you to the board. Like Jim's Gem said, someone here will know.

I don't remember what I paid for my Mega Quilter, but I love, love it. Never, ever had any problems with it. I'm fairly certain it was more than 1300. but it's been a few years. Wish I had a frame for it. My SO is going to make me one, had the plans, just lazy getting started.

It is a very good deal, if it includes the Quilter's Cruise Control (Stitch Regulator). I have the same setup in the Pfaff version and have just recently upgraded to a larger setup. I will be selling my setup in the near future for roughly the same price.

I own one. That is a very good price. My husband paid $3,000 for mine brand new.

The value of this setup depends on how old it is, and whether it is the original machine and frame or a newer model.

Thanks everyone.

This is a good point, I'll have to ask how old they are exactly. Is there any specific thing that would be on each product that would help be identify if they are the "older" models? A serial number or something?

Thanks again.
