Default Can't find white cotton fabric sale

I really like to buy white cotton fabric for my backing for my quilts but I'm really having a hard time finding it on sale right now or some with low shipping cost online. My nearest Walmart with fabric is 25 miles away. Any suggestions would be helpful.

Connecting Threads has solid white for sale on their site for $4.96 p/yd.

http://www.connectingthreads.com/fab...ml?showAll=yes

If you scroll down on the page about 3/4 way down you will see it. It's #3956 & just called quilting cotton, solid white.

I have good luck with fabric sellers on Etsy. Many people on there have flat rate shipping regardless of quantity purchased. AnnadaisysFabrics is one that has flat rate shipping of $3. There are several more, that's just the one that came up first when I searched on their app. Connecting Threads is a great site too.

If you buy from Walmart.com and choose the ship to store option the shipping is free.

I use the white cotton sheeting that is 118" wide. Previously, I bought it at Hancock Fabrics, which is now out of business. It is similar to this: https://www.onlinefabricstore.net/11...FYQ7gQodQUIF5g

The fabric is a tighter weave and feels softer to the hand that most quilting cottons. If you are hand quilting, you probably won't like it. I use it on my long arm all the time. I'd just as soon not piece the back unless it's absolutely a have to situation.

I don't know if this is what you need or if they have the sale still running....Keepsake Quilting had their wide backing fabrics on sale the last time I checked.

I'd check connectingthreads.com. They have a beautiful white on white swirl for $5.96 a yard. Also check their wide backings for $11.96 a yard. I'm pretty sure I saw a white there. Their fabric is a lot better quality than Walmart or JAF's. Also free shipping on orders $50 or more. I just stock up on basic's to get the free shipping.
