Holy cow!!!! There is NO way I am attempting that! Not until I've been adopted for at least 6 months ... way way way beyond my capabilities!

I've always wanted to do a bargello but they scare me! The french braids for me, are easy peasy!

Thanks for all the info ... I'm leaning towards the french braids unless someone sends me a pic of something that just grabs me.

If / when I do the french braid, I won't be using black, but rather a maroon / darker purple or darker blue

I do think the Eleanor Burns quick trip would be a great choice for this beautiful fabric.

WOW, I'm afraid I don't have any helpful ideas, but the fabrics are gorgeous. I think I would set the fabric out where I could see those gorgeous colors and I'm sure an idea will come to you.

If you have enough fabric, a trip around the world would be beautiful.

I also say Bargello. There is a free pattern on Northcott website. Pattern is called Serenity Bargello. It is NOT a difficult pattern to follow. Just repeats 12 fabrics twice using 2.5" wide strips.
