I broke my left ankle a few years ago. Had to be non-weight bearing for 8 weeks. Had to keep elevated. I devised a foot stool and pillow for the left....and "pedal to the metal" with the right. I had to stay at my parents house, so one day my sister took me to my house, I maneuvered up a step with the help of a stool. Got some of my UFO's, gather up all my quilting supplies and sewing machine. I completed 3 full size quilts in that time. I don't know what I would have done without my Bernie and computer.

That is why I don't do spring cleaning...specially in the winter. Is a safety issue rather than a cleaning issue. Hope you can sew all you wish!

See, cleaning IS dangerous! I am so going to remember this the next time I even think about cleaning up around this house. Much better to stick to quilting.
