Default Grace Frame Question

I found this on Craigslist, and when I contacted them, she indicated there isn't a serial number or name on it other than Grace Frame. She thought she paid $2100 about six years ago.

She is not aware of what the fabric-fast is so I am thinking it is only a fabric leader.

Any thoughts on this frame, or if this is a good deal?

I've never had a LA frame and thought it might help me quilt a little easier?
Thanks

I don't know much about Grace frames, but you can check completed listings on eBay to see what similar frames have sold for there:

Here is a link to a new GQ Grace frame with price new:

If that's not the right frame, here is a link to images of Grace frames. Maybe you can find a match to the craigslist one:

What kind of machine would you be putting on the frame? If it is a standard domestic machine, be aware that the takeup roller (that the quilt rolls onto under the arm) will take up space. There are limitations to the size of a quilt you can get under the arm of your machine. In general, if you have a standard 9" harp on your machine then towards the end of a double size quilt you may have only about 3" of width to work with for quilting.

Edit: One more thing to be aware of is the carriage size, as that will determine the size of machine you can put on the frame. The pictured frame might be find for domestic size machines, but not able to handle larger machines with harp size 13" or bigger. This frame may or may not be able to handle larger sized machines; it will depend on the size of the carriage (the platform that holds the machine and slides forwards/backwards/right/left).

Edit 2: I *just* noticed that the Craigslist listing is for a Bernina quilt frame by Grace. I found these Youtube videos on assembling this frame.

There are comments underneath these videos that may be helpful to you too.
