I have just inherited gmf pieces done however the outside hexagons are all pressed open. Can I reinsert a template & press them so they are turned under so I can applique them to squares or does some one have a better idea?

Any and all ideas are greatly appreciated...

After pressing you might baste them to hold the shape until your get them appliqued. Be sure to keep us posted on your progress:)

After removing the templates I was thinking of putting a drop of glue on each one to hold them until I could get them put onto my background fabric. I have never done a gmfg before & these were inherited from a very close friend who I lost a couple of years ago and her husband, daughter & grand daughter had a few of her close friends over a few weeks ago to go through all her craft/quilting things & I chose this. I will mean a lot to me when I am finished, still not sure if it is going to be a table runner or a wall hanging or maybe two table runners. Again any and all suggestions are more than appreciated.

Thanks
