    Default graph paper and EQ

Do any of you that use EQ start working/playing with designs on graph paper before going to EQ?

Yes. I start with pencil & paper, then move on to EQ or Adobe Illustrator.

I don't see the point of using graph paper and EQ. Defeats the purpose. There is a grid design of any size in EQ.

I've been using graph paper exclusively these days. I don 't know how to get some of my designs into EQ.

Depends on where I am, but if I am home and have access to EQ I use that exclusively. Sometimes I get an idea while at work and sketch it out (or use Excel) but I always bring it home to finish up in EQ.

NO, EQ has everything I need. I usually am adjusting the size of a quilt pattern I have right in front of me.
