Hi Dodie! Yes, I got the BSR. Good to know someone else who has it and loves it. My sister tried doing FMQ for YEARS ...... took classes, etc. but, until she got the Bernina w/ BSR she just couldn't get even stitches. Since she has had the BSR, you should see the wonderful FMQ she has managed to do. When you say that you do larger quilts, how large are you talking about? I'd appreciate any hints/words of wisdom you could share. Thanks, Nita

I do as large as queen size but in sections as large as quarters or as small as blocks then put them together works great I also trace patterns on
press and seal using a ball point pen it sticks with no pinning just remove carefully and can do any design will be happy to help you in any way I can

Happy Birthday, a couple of days late. I know you will enjoy your new things immensely. Although I don't have a new Bernina, I have the 153 QE, and LOVE it! Can't say enough about the Bernina's. You got my dream set up & I'll look forward to seeing the wonderful things you make.

I want both a hubby like that and a Bernina like that and a Horn cabinet. Let's see...is there enough room for the hubby to sleep in the cabinet while I sew?

    Nita,

I have the Horn Deluxe Combo-Air Sewing Center and just love it. The drawers hold most stuff. There is a place on the right for a computer or serger. And the space is amazing! I love it! I would love to get a better machine, but will have to settle with my Brother CI-6000.

    Happy birthday!!

Another Nita, but I am really and Anita, from Minnesota

Shadowlane ~ I am asking $5500 for my HQ-16 Pro Frame Package with Stitch Regulator. I recently lowered my price from $6500 where I started out when I decided to sell. $5500 is my rock bottom price. I also have it listed on Craigs List. Would prefer to sell locally in which case buyer could pick up. Otherwise, out of town buyer needs to pay shipping costs. It is a steal at this price. Barely used. Great running condition. Comes w/ about $400 worth of extras.
