It isn't hard to stick your self, I find myself doing that a lot with the long thin pins.

I can beat that. Try sewing 192 blocks together with the wrong sides of the fabric. I did this last year during a mystery class and had been quilting for 15 years. Guess you can never be too experienced to make really big mistakes. And yes I did take it all apart and redo it after 6 months. It's really pretty. :)

I've done that with 2 blades also, not realizing it until the teacher in the class did...The oil they use to stick them together was my excuse.

That's a great idea, some of them are like permanent buddies or something that stick together something fierce. I'm gonna remember that--safer for the fingers.

I guess we all have to learn the hard way, that practice makes perfect, ha! ha!, but who wants to do your work over, I guess that is the way we all learn, we know how to take it apart. There isn't a quilter that I know that doesn't know how to use a seam riper.

Yeah, me, too. Only put in 2 but wondered why the blade didn't work any better than what I took out. You are like the rest of us! LOL
